Neogenyx Fuels’ first agricultural renewable natural gas (RNG) facility, developed in partnership with Adams Land & Cattle, converts feedlot manure into pipeline-quality RNG. Located in Broken Bow, Nebraska, the facility uses eight anaerobic digesters to generate more than 4,400 SCFM of biogas and produce approximately 1.2 million MMBtu of RNG annually for transportation and other energy applications.
By creating productive uses for process byproducts and reducing up to 63,700 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually, the project demonstrates a scalable approach to sustainable agriculture, rural economic development, and low-carbon energy production.
The Adams Land & Cattle RNG Facility transforms agricultural waste into a valuable renewable energy resource through an integrated process that combines anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, and pipeline injection. By capturing methane from livestock manure and upgrading it to pipeline-quality renewable natural gas (RNG), the facility creates a scalable pathway for agricultural operations to produce low-carbon energy while maximizing the value of existing resources and byproducts.
Once upgraded, the RNG is injected into the local natural gas system, providing a dependable, domestically produced fuel source for the energy market. The facility is expected to produce approximately 1.2 million MMBtu of RNG annually while supporting resource efficiency through the beneficial reuse of digestate byproducts. By converting manure into renewable energy, the project demonstrates how agricultural operations can turn waste into a productive energy resource while supporting domestic energy production.
